If she's Tootie, can I be Blair? Please. Ahh...who am I kidding. I'm a Jo. Damnit.

But those skates are awesome. Did they come with yarn ribbons for her pigtails.

Yup, definitely a Jo here too.

Great skates. M got skates for Hannukah this year - I had the damnedest time finding the pink ones she wanted. She loves them though. Only catch? For next year she wants a purple skateboard! (I feel my hair going gray as I write.)

Ha! Must be the gift of the year - both mine got them this year along with new "two wheel" scooters instead of the 3 or 4 wheel versions.

Just picked out the new helmets last weekend on clearance - have to kid myself into thinking that will keep them safe.

My two youngest are just trying to master regular skates at the rink. Maybe in a few years, my heart could take the blades.

Those are CUTE!!! How fun . . . ride on toys have destroyed our floors so skates can be the next thing.

Tootie? Now I can't get that song out of my head . . . . "you take the good, you take the bad, you take . . . " :-)

I miss rollerskating SO much. I learned when I was 4, and was at the local rink 2-3 times a week every year after that. Ahhh..the good ol days.

I did not get the tootie reference until I read the comments. I know I must have watched this show, right?

Anyhoo, she's not related to me. As in she's standing.

Word verification was "triste" which means "sad" in Spanish. Yes. I was very sad on skates. Thanks for reminding me.

Ok, everybody took all the good Facts of Life comments, however, does anyone remember that George Clooney was on that show?

C'mon sing me out:

You take the good, you take the bad
You take them both and there you have
The facts of life...the facts of life...
